  • What do I need to bring?
Feel free to bring a picnic mat or similar to sit on, and a rucksack or comfortable bag to carry anything else you might want (e.g. water, snacks, spare layers). Your instructor will contact you in advance of the session with a reminder and any additional details. The workshop will provide all the essential supplies, including nature journals, pens, pencils, and clipboards.
  • What do I get to take home?
You will be able to take home your customisable nature journal, a quick starter guide, and a nature journal project book full of nature journaling activities to try after the workshop.
  • What should I wear?
Our workshops are hosted in woodland habitats, which can feel cooler than expected. Please bring layers to keep you warm and appropriate footwear for walking. We also suggest bringing a waterproof, too!
  • Will the workshops still go ahead if it is bad weather?
Our workshops will go ahead whether it's sunny or raining! There are a lot of benefits to experiencing and noticing nature in different weather conditions (but make sure to bring your wet weather gear if it's due to rain). Workshops will be rescheduled in cases of adverse weather conditions (e.g. high winds, storms, dangerous conditions). In these situations, you will be contacted beforehand.
  • Can I bring my dog?
    Sorry, no dogs!
  • Can my children come along?
Apologies, this workshop is for adults aged 18+ only. To check if there are workshops for families and/or children and young people, please email wildcreativesuk@gmail.com.
  • I can only walk slowly/for short distances, is this session suitable for me?
During our workshops, we tend to cover a distance of 1-2 kilometres. This will be at a slow pace, and there will be opportunities to stop and sit. If you would like to have a chat before booking, please email wildcreativesuk@gmail.com.

Workshop FAQs

Terms & conditions

Cancellations & refunds

In the event that you are unable to attend or wish to cancel your booking, or if you prefer to transfer your place to another workshop, we kindly request a minimum of 2 weeks' notice via email. This advance notice enables us to facilitate a refund or reschedule your participation in another workshop.

For cancellation requests received within 2 weeks of your scheduled workshop, the responsibility rests with the participant to independently resell their workshop place. Please be advised that no refunds or reschedules will be provided in such instances. It is crucial that participants promptly inform us of any changes and provide an email address for the newly designated attendee.

In the rare circumstance that Anna needs to cancel events due to low numbers or adverse weather conditions, such as high winds or storms, guests will receive the option of a full refund, an alternative workshop date, or workshop "credit" which can be put towards any other workshop of their choosing.

Refunds are not available for online workshops. However, for those unable to attend a live Zoom class, a recording will be provided.

Travel and associated costs

Wild Creatives does not cover any costs related to guests' planned attendance at the workshop session, such as travel and accommodation expenses. Guests are kindly asked to consider and manage these additional costs on their own.

Photography and filming

Photography and film are occasionally taken during public workshops, to be used for marketing purposes. If you have any objections to having your image used, please do let us know upon booking or during the workshop.
